Joseph Bardin Bio
Joe is an essayist and playwright based in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is the author of the essay collection Outlier Heart (IFERS Press). His nonfiction has appeared in numerous literary journals including Interim, Bull Journal, Louisville Review, Superstition Review, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Eclectica, Rock & Sling, Pithead Chapel, among others, and been anthologized in the Transhumanist Handbook (Springer).
His plays have been read or produced by Time Square Players in NYC, Theatre Artists Studios, iTheatre Collaborative, Winding Road Theatre, Space 55, Herberger Lunchtime Theater in Phoenix, the La Jolla Theatre Ensemble and KMC Onstage, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
His play, Infinity Mirror, was a finalist for the 2019 Gary Marshall Theatre New Works Festival.
His screenplay, Seeing Maya, was a semi-finalist in the 2016 Rhode Island Film Festival.
His play, Love Disorder, a comedy about relationships, performed at the Herberger Theater, Kax Stage in Phoenix in November 2014, the Arizona Republic described as “snappy, clever and irreverent” comparing the humor to that of the hit sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”. But really, it’s funnier.
Joe is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
For the past 20 years, Joe has operated a ghostwriting and copywriting firm called Relativity Writing (www.relativitywriting.com). He has worked with major brands including Motorola, Proctor & Gamble, DreamWorks Studios and Intel. Joe’s work has won industry recognition including an American Business Award, and publication in AR100 Black Book and the Print Regional Design Annual. Joe has co-written and ghostwritten several books on subjects ranging from art, health and lifestyle change to prosperity and career transition.

Joe is Director of Communications for the Coalition for Radical Life Extension (www.rlecoalition.com) and People Unlimited (www.peopleunlimitedinc.com), an organization dedicated to radical life extension and physical immortality with its headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ. He has spoken on the subject of physical immortality throughout the US and internationally.
